Biology Field Trip part two - Beaty Biodiversity Museum

After the self tour in the C. K. Choi Building, we moved on to the Beaty Biodiversity Museum. On the way, I could see some interesting things.

The Echo Circle: When you stand on the circle and talk, you can hear yourself!

In front of the museum.

 Smelling the smelly stuff... EWW!

 Parrotfish
#1 cool thing: Marlin - It kinda looks like a swordfish doesn't it?
#2 cool thing: seahorses - They are pretty recognizable! What's cool about them is that the males are the ones that lay the babies!!
 #3 cool thing: starfish skeleton
#4 cool thing: owls - They were the biggest owls I've ever seen!!
liverworts: the earliest land plant in evolutionary history
an animal whose mouth parts were thought to be "shrimp-like" creatures
#5 cool thing: platypus skeleton - Even the beaks look the same!
Pelvic bones of the whale - IT'S SO BIG
Elephant skull
